Team, thank you for your support in our end-of-quarter deadline. With the help of those who donated, we're set up for a strong start to this new quarter as we work to win back a House majority that will hold the Trump administration accountable.
If you haven’t had a chance to donate, but still want to help, you can make a donation here.
Last week, my team & I spent time talking to you about what we call the “4 C’s” of this administration — chaos, corruption, cruelty, and confusion.
Well, today I want to introduce you to the “4 C’s” of my opposition plan — in other words, how we fight back: Citizen engagement, Courts, Congress, and Calling out the silence of the Republicans.
By helping with my FEC filing deadline, you took part in a form of citizen engagement. Throughout the coming weeks, I will share more about these 4 C’s and how you can take part (through taking action, donating, and showing up) in the opposition with me.
It’s clear it is going to take all of us to hold this administration accountable. Last week, we saw a staggering set of errors by top Trump Administration officials that endangered the lives of American fighter pilots, troops, and our national security.
As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I must strongly condemn the unacceptable leaking of classified and secure information by the Vice President, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Advisor via group chat on an unsecure channel during an active military operation.
They put American lives in danger, but in typical MAGA fashion, they’re refusing to accept responsibility and are downplaying the threat in an attempt to sweep it under the rug. They hope the American people will be distracted by the next act in the Trump circus.
But with citizen engagement, the courts, Congress, and calling out those responsible, we can’t and won’t let that happen.
We deserve leaders who will take responsibility, own up to their mistakes, and work tirelessly to ensure they never happen again. That’s why I am calling for the resignations of DOD Secretary Hegseth and National Security Advisor Waltz.
Here is another chance for citizen engagement: take my poll below and let me know if you agree:
There’s a lot we can and must do with our minority power to hold this administration accountable. And I want to thank you once again for standing up in these troubling times. It will get better.
