Every June 6th, we remember and honor those who gave their lives to defend the
causes of freedom and liberty from the evil of Nazi fascism.

John,

Today, Americans across Georgia and the entire country are commemorating the
76th anniversary of D-Day.

On June 6th, 1944, the Greatest Generation stormed the beaches of Normandy to
begin liberating Europe from Nazi oppression. Their heroism - and staggering
sacrifice - paved the way for the end of World War II.

We must never forget their sacrifices, nor the sacrifices made each and every
day by our men and women in uniform. I couldn’t be prouder to serve these
American heroes on the U.S. Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, where we work to
ensure they have access to the healthcare and resources they rightly deserve.

It’s one of the greatest honors of my life.

John, I invite you to join me today in honoring those who sacrificed
everything on D-Day. Let's work together to better serve those who have
dedicated their lives to serving us.

Thank you,
