Hey everybody, two points we want to make today.

First, we’ve already seen some state and local level races around the country make incredible swings against the GOP this year.

That’s a promising sign.

Second, we won the Wisconsin Supreme Court race last night, and it wasn’t close. VoteVets recognized the importance of this race early and made a six-figure investment in it.

Trump won Wisconsin by 1 point in 2024. Susan Crawford will win this race by a margin of over 10 points — a swing of 11 points in six months. Elon Musk was paying people hundreds of dollars to sign petitions, thousands of dollars to knock doors, gave out $1 million dollar checks to supporters, and invested about $25 million in the race that we can tell.

Here’s the lesson: Elon Musk’s billions are not going to save the GOP.

Elon is holding his billions over the heads of Republicans in Congress, threatening to primary them if they don’t fall in line. He’s calling out Democratic Veterans in elected office on social media and in the news — even going so far as to call them traitors — and committing to spend heavily to defeat them.

We’ll say it again: Elon Musk’s billions are not going to save you. And to everyone in the GOP counting on keeping their heads down and pushing through Elon and Trump’s slash and burn agenda: Consider yourselves on notice.

We are coming for you. If you vote to gut Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and programs millions of Veterans depend on — we are coming for you. If you are going to stand by while Elon and DOGE gut the VA, fire 83,000 staff, and force Veterans to the brink — we are coming for you. If you pass trillions in tax cuts for the most filthy rich people in the country while leaving our Veterans hanging in the breeze — we are coming for you.
