Big things are happening with the Charlotte Young Republicans! We are thrilled to announce our official rebrand, marking the start of a bold new era for our club. While we have a new name and look, our mission will remain the same: recruit, train, and elect Republicans—and serve as a networking organization for young professional conservatives. With a revitalized board, fresh energy, and a renewed commitment to growing our movement, we’re ready to take things to the next level—and we want you to be part of it!
As part of this exciting relaunch, we’re proud to unveil our brand-new website: a modern, streamlined hub for everything Charlotte YRs. From upcoming events and membership info to volunteer opportunities and resources, the site makes it easier than ever to stay connected and get involved. We’re starting out of the gates fast by hosting the Inaugural CYR Derby Party on May 3rd. We’d love for you to join us for an evening of horses, big hats, networking, and fun! Lastly, in lieu of our regular monthly meeting, we’re encouraging all members to attend the NCGOP District 12 Convention on Wednesday, April 10 at SMS Catering (1764 Norland Road, Charlotte). Registration opens at 6:00pm and the convention begins at 6:30pm. All registered Republicans are welcome—but must register. We’ll be electing new leadership and hearing from special guest Susan Tillis, founder of Red, White, and Bundled. It’s a great opportunity to engage with fellow Republicans, meet candidates and elected officials, and make your voice heard. Online registration closes Tuesday, April 8 at 5:00pm.
