Hey John, happy Wednesday!

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and say thank you for your support during our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline and over the last few months. It truly means a lot—and it’s fueling the fight we’re in together.

Look, since Donald Trump took office, we’ve seen some awful attacks on our rights, our democracy, and working people.

From allowing Elon Musk to gut our government, to threatening cuts to Medicaid and food programs, from slashing VA funding to a reckless trade policy—these attacks have been more than just hard to watch, they’re heartbreaking and they have devastating impacts on our communities.

We could sit back and let it get us down. We could accept the fear, the frustration, the exhaustion of fighting against this corrupt agenda.

Or—we can do what tough people have always done when the deck is stacked against us: stand up, fight back, and refuse to back down.

I came to Congress to represent the people of Western PA, not to sit by quietly and watch Donald Trump, his billionaire friends, and Republican enablers slash health care, make it harder to afford groceries, and prioritize corruption and profiteering off our government.

This fight is up to all of us. Now isn’t the time to sit on the sidelines, it’s the time to step up and take action. We’ve got to stand our ground.
