Last night, my friend Cory Booker showed us what it means to fight for the people of this country.

He stood in the Senate — for 25 hours straight — and talked about the damage the Trump administration and the Republican Party is doing to our country.

He talked about their plan to cut taxes for billionaires paid for by cutting programs like Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Head Start, nutrition programs for kids in school and more.

He talked about this administration's disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law.

And he talked about how the filibuster record he broke was set by a man trying to stop the passage of the Civil Rights Act.

Cory Booker stood for us — to show the way forward in the fights ahead — and now he needs us to stand up for him in his re-election.
