Friday’s the last day of the 2025 legislative session, and Georgia lawmakers are rushing to pass TWO last-minute voter suppression bills. We’re fighting back, but we’re counting on urgent support from grassroots activists like you in the final sprint — please make a donation right away to help protect the freedom to vote. The bills would make it harder to cast a ballot and easier for extreme activists to challenge Georgians’ right to vote. The provisions would:

1. Ban Georgians from dropping off mail ballots over the weekend before Election Day — targeting the exact moment when busy people likely have more time to return their ballots.

2. Allow cuts to Saturday early voting — when many parents, students, caregivers, and folks who work long hours during the week have time to vote — for certain local elections.

3. Give unelected State Election Board (SEB) members more control over who stays on the voter rolls — rewarding the SEB’s Trump-aligned majority for bending to conspiracy theorists, breaking public trust, and violating the law.

4. Enshrine policies that bipartisan elections experts have called out as harmful, like mandated video surveillance of absentee ballot drop boxes and expanded partisan poll watcher access to sensitive areas in elections offices.

Chip in right now to fight back against policies like these that restrict voting rights and damage our elections. [[link removed]]

Let’s be clear: the legislation fits into a broader pattern of voter suppression in Georgia. In the past few years, new laws have made mass voter purges easier, imposed burdensome voter ID requirements, criminalized handing out food and water to voters in line, and placed unnecessary limits on ballot drop boxes.

These new provisions, if they pass, would once again make it harder to cast a ballot, especially for voters of color, students, and frequent movers.

Everyone should have an equal opportunity to make their voices heard in our democracy. They should be able to vote at a time that fits their schedule. And they shouldn’t have to worry that some partisan activist they’ve never met could challenge their eligibility and get them purged from the voter rolls.

To protect the basic fairness of our elections, we must stop these attempts to restrict access to the ballot.

And we’ve got to act fast.

Before the legislative session ends on Friday, it’s all-gas-no-breaks. We’re rallying Georgians to contact their lawmakers and speak out against these bills, we’re lobbying legislators, and we’re raising the alarm about how these new changes would undermine public trust in our elections.

As we race to prevent these bills from passing, will you make a donation of any amount to defend our democracy? [[link removed]]
