The results are in: Judge Susan Crawford has defeated Brad Schimel, preserving liberals' majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Tonight’s win in Wisconsin sent a clear message that voters are pushing back on the MAGA agenda and momentum is on our side for the [fights ahead]([link removed]).
 
Thank you to the thousands of you who prevented an attempt by Trump, Musk, and other MAGA megadonors to seize the court in a tight battleground state.

In the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court race, the Swing Left community:

- Raised $238,801 for Judge Crawford and the Wisconsin Democratic Party’s get-out-the-vote efforts
- Made 396,000+ calls
- Knocked on 13,300+ doors
- Wrote 250,000+ letters to Wisconsin voters, as part of a coalition led by Swing Left affiliate Vote Forward
That’s outstanding work that played a crucial role in turning out voters and securing this important victory. In fact, so many of you stepped up this year that we more than doubled (and in some cases, tripled!) our numbers compared to the last Wisconsin Supreme Court election in 2023.

This is a promising win, and a crucial first step. Next, to definitively stop Trump, Musk, and MAGA, we must remove them from power—starting with our most essential line of offense: winning back the House.
