We wish we could tell you this was a bad April Fool's joke, but Republican State Senator David Brock Smith and his Republican allies recently argued to END vote-by-mail in Oregon.

Oregonians didn't think it was very funny either:

An impressive 11,000 Oregonians filed testimony on this bill and the vast majority oppose Brock Smith's foolish proposal. Vote-by-mail is the most secure way to vote, and Oregon has some of the highest voter turnout rates in the country. Oregon Republicans' attempt to end vote-by-mail is part of a national MAGA movement to make it harder for people to oppose their Project 2025 agenda.

We're doing everything we can to expose Republicans' extremism and make sure Democratic legislators and candidates are supported so we can fight back against dangerous MAGA policies.
