Recent Legislation
- LEAD CO-SPONSOR... H.R.2345, to establish the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve in the State of Georgia, and for other purposes.
- CO-SPONSOR... H.R. 2033, to make employers of spouses of military personnel eligible for the work opportunity tax credit.
- CO-SPONSOR... H.R. 1637, to require reports from executive branch agencies on the number of veteran employees fired and require such agencies to rehire these veteran employees.
- CO-SPONSOR... H.R. 1869, to establish a new task force to investigate and prosecute trade-related crimes, including tariff and trade restriction evasion, money laundering, and smuggling.
- LEAD CO-SPONSOR... H.R. 2426, to require a study on the quality of care difference between mental health and addiction therapy care provided by health care providers of the Department of Veterans Affairs compared to non-Department providers, and for other purposes.
Letters
A letter to SSA Acting Commissioner Dudek emphasizing the need to preserve phone services for vulnerable populations who rely on Social Security benefits.
A letter to FSGG Subcommittee Chairman Joyce requesting that the Subcommittee hold an oversight hearing as soon as possible regarding the United States DOGE Service.
A letter requesting Speaker Johnson arrange a briefing from Elon Musk for all Members of Congress regarding his role in the Trump administration and his actions as the head of DOGE.
A letter to Deputy Postmaster General Tulino to express opposition to proposed cuts of 10,000 workers from the United States Postal Service.
