Last night, we were facing our first end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign, and we set a big goal.

With the help of over 27,000 grassroots donors like you, I am happy to report that we didn’t just hit our goal – we crushed it. And we did it without one penny from corporate PACs. Thank you.

When I announced I was running for Congress just 64 days ago, I never could have imagined the outpouring of support I’d receive.

I am the son of a single mother, an immigrant who brought us to this country with very little more than the hope of a better life for her kids. There were times we struggled financially, and we had to rely on life-saving programs like Medicaid that my Republican opponent wants to cut to give tax cuts to the mega-rich.

Working-class families like mine are the reason I am running for Congress.

This is going to be a hard race. In 2024, Republicans spent $15 million to flip this seat red and hold onto their narrow House majority. They won by fewer than 2,500 votes.

Now, this is being called one of just a handful of toss-up races, and I know the billionaires and their Super PACs are going to spend even more against me.

But here’s what I also know: The support of people like you is far greater and far stronger than anything the Super PACs can throw at me.
