John,
Elon Musk and his reckless DOGE continue to make devastating cuts to critical infrastructure at home and abroad. Today’s cuts eliminate crucial gun violence prevention resources that communities and policymakers rely on to understand gun violence and save lives.
This isn’t about deleting statistics and numbers, John, this is about the lives that will be lost without crucial information.
The truth is Americans want life-saving reforms, not unilateral cuts that undermine our ability to understand the root causes of gun violence and the evidence based solutions that can prevent it.
Elon's move is unacceptable and deadly. Add you name and denounce DOGE’s latest cuts. >> [[link removed]]

As part of the mass layoffs announced today at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the majority of government employees charged with processing all of the data we have on U.S. gun deaths received letters from DOGE to resign. Without this team and the vital resources they compile, policymakers, researchers, and advocates will not have the data they need to save lives from gun violence.
These cuts will effectively erase our ability to track, understand, and respond to the gun violence epidemic that claims 117 lives daily in this country. When we cannot measure the problem, we cannot effectively address it.
We cannot remain silent when life-saving policies are on the line. Add your name to speak out against this devastating cut by DOGE. >> [[link removed]]
