  • Understanding the ways restrictive immigration policy changes can affect educators’ work and well-being. 
  • Knowledge about the school-based supports that are especially important for educators in a charged immigration climate.
  • Information about recent changes to immigration law and policy under the current Trump administration and how these changes may be impacting students and educators. 
  • How existing student data privacy law under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects all students, including students from immigrant and mixed status families.
  • Examples of thinking and relational strategies to support community mental health during times of uncertainty.
