Last night at 7pm ET, Senator Cory Booker claimed the floor of the U.S.
Senate to speak out against the Trump administration’s crimes against the
public.(1)

At this moment, he hasn’t yielded the floor.(2)

Sen. Booker is speaking up for all of us -- about how our health care is
at risk, about how DOGE is destroying Social Security and the Department
of Education, and about how our very democracy is hanging in the balance.
And because he has been speaking for so long, he is gaining national
attention.

[ [link removed] ]This is what we need our representatives to do -- grab the microphone
and demand that our voices be heard! Will you sign our card thanking
Senator Cory Booker for his strength and call on our other representatives
to do the same?

Sen. Booker is taking questions from the floor, giving the opportunity
for, among others, Sen. Elizabeth Warren to talk about Social Security
offices closing, Sen. Chris Murphy to talk about the risk to our military
from security breaches, and Sen. Raphael Warnock to talk about how our
children are at risk from Donald Trump’s authoritarian government.

This isn’t a political stunt -- it’s a movement. And Sen. Booker’s speech
is taking the spotlight off of talks of annexing Greenland and demonizing
immigrants and putting it back on the actual business of governing for the
good of the people.

Congress has some awful legislation on the table this week. The House of
Representatives is voting on the SAVE Act, which would interfere with the
voter registration of millions of citizens. They’re also voting on the No
Rogue Rulings Act, which would stop judges from being able to stop Trump’s
illegal executive orders. The House is also voting to overturn rules that
the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau put in place to defend us from
predatory lenders and creditors.(3)

We need more of our representatives to call attention to this terrible
legislation and Trump’s illegal actions by speaking out like Sen. Booker
is doing right now. Will you sign our card today?
