Congressional Republicans are advancing a federal Concealed Carry
Mandate—an extreme, gun lobby-backed bill that would gut states' gun laws
and let people with dangerous histories carry loaded, hidden guns in
public.
[ [link removed] ]We have to stop this dangerous bill: Urge your federal lawmakers to
reject Congress' Concealed Carry Mandate.

Today is Election Day in Wisconsin, where Elon Musk is trying to buy a
seat on the state's Supreme Court. Our reproductive freedoms, fair
legislative maps, and the safety of our communities are all on the line.
Wisconsin deserves a future where everyone is free from the threat of gun
violence. Only one candidate in this race shares those values: Susan
Crawford.
[ [link removed] ]Learn more about what's at stake in this pivotal election. And then,
make sure that your friends and family in Wisconsin have a plan to cast
their ballots today for Susan Crawford.

Rhode Island Students Demand Action and Moms Demand Action volunteers have
been fighting to pass an assault weapons ban in the state for years. And
this year, our volunteers have a real chance to pass it—and undoubtedly
save Rhode Islanders' lives.
But the gun lobby is hellbent on defeating this life-saving bill—and
they've shown up in droves to recent legislative hearings to show their
opposition.
At a time when our federal gun laws are at risk of being dismantled, we're
relying on state and local leaders to step up to protect our communities
now more than ever. But our Rhode Island volunteers need your help.

We just launched [ [link removed] ]EveryShot, a new AI-powered interactive site from
Everytown Labs that tracks shootings across the U.S. in near real-time.
We'll use public news sources, AI technology, and human review to document
incidents of gun violence with details on 75+ variables—including date,
location, shooting type, and information on victims.
As the Trump Administration actively erodes data collection and research
on gun violence prevention, access to accurate, timely, and comprehensive
data on this epidemic is more important than ever.
[ [link removed] ]EveryShot aims to fill gaps in existing data to provide insights that
can guide policy and action to fight for a future free from gun violence.

Extreme Risk laws enable loved ones or law enforcement to petition a civil
court to temporarily restrict access to firearms for individuals in crisis
via an Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO), allowing them to intervene
before a tragedy occurs.
21 states and the District of Columbia have Extreme Risk laws in place—and
ERPOs are increasingly being used in these states to keep guns out of the
hands of those in crisis. [ [link removed] ]But these laws are only useful if people are
aware that they exist, and if they're properly implemented by law
enforcement.
"The challenge in this is that too many people, too many law enforcement
people, too many families, are not aware that there is an Extreme Risk law
in their state," said Sarah Burd-Sharps, Everytown's Senior Director of
Research.

In a major victory for the gun violence prevention movement and public
safety, the Supreme Court upheld ATF's life-saving rule regulating ghost
guns in Bondi v. VanDerStok.
Ghost guns look, shoot, and kill like real guns—but up until this rule
went into effect, they weren't treated as such. The Supreme Court's
decision affirms that this common-sense regulation is absolutely
consistent with ATF's authority under the federal Gun Control Act.
No one should be able to buy a kit to build a gun without a background
check—and this rule prevents that. [ [link removed] ]Here's what you need to know about
this landmark victory for our movement.

Colorado lawmakers just passed THREE different gun safety bills to help
keep lethal weapons and ammunition out of the wrong hands and save
Coloradans' lives!
We couldn't have secured these life-saving wins without the hard work of
our volunteers, who advocated tirelessly all session to push these bills
across the finish line. But now, the gun lobby is flooding lawmakers'
offices to shame them for protecting their constituents' lives.
We need to show these state lawmakers that our movement is behind them—and
thank them for taking important action on gun safety. [ [link removed] ]Send a message
