Funding for public transportation and other core public services is being cut throughout the whole nation, including our own in San Francisco. Despite being an essential resource for mobility, equity, and climate mitigation, transit is under attack.
For the past fifteen years, San Francisco Transit Riders has been lucky to have a community of riders who are as passionate about public transportation as we are. Since our inception, SFTR has been San Francisco’s only member and community-led non-profit, fighting for an equitable, safe, and affordable system that all residents can benefit from. This is why we must keep protecting transit and transit riders throughout the Bay Area. Every April, we host our annual Membership Month to celebrate all the members who make our organization special. If our organization and our mission are important to you, please consider joining our events and becoming a part of our community, so we can continue working toward our collective goals.
SFTR wants to continue fighting for transit, and we can’t do that without your support.
