Serve Local, Big Day, Baptism Sunday
Serve Local Churches are encouraged to select a day, or multiple days, during April 12–19 to serve their communities, meeting practical needs and strategically sharing the Gospel. Resources include evangelism resources and
suggestions on identifying needs.
Big Day “Big Days” are recurring cultural moments in the year that can be used to invite people to church. For the Spring Outreach Strategy, Big Day is April 20, which is Easter, a natural high attendance Sunday.
Statewide Baptism Sunday Churches are invited to mark April 27, the Sunday after Easter, as a day of celebrating decisions made through Serve Local and Big Day.

Arkansas Baptist Women Podcast
In this special episode, we sit down with Leslie Strobel to discuss her ministry and her support for her husband, Lee. She shares her testimony of coming to faith in Jesus and what it was like to pray and contend for her atheist husband to come to trust Jesus as well. Her husband Lee eventually came to believe in Jesus and went on to author many different
books that have shared Jesus with millions of people around the world. The couple now travel around to various speaking engagements and conferences. They are active in their church and cherish time together with their grandkids. Leslie and Lee cowrote a
book called Spiritual Mismatch to help others in similar situations where one spouse is a believer and the other is not.
