This week, thousands of people flooded the streets, posted on social media, and risked their lives to demand an end to police brutality across the nation. We are overwhelmed by the amazing leadership of the movement. But this isn’t over yet! We must continue to unapologetically call out the need to defund police, defund forces of terror such as ICE and CBP, and demand structural change.

This is why at UWD we’re committed to fighting alongside Black leaders and uplifting their voices until these demands are met. No justice! No peace!

This is about all of us. So, we invite you to join us tomorrow at The Movement For Black Lives and The Rising Majority National Call on Saturday at 1:00PM (EST). This national call will be an important space to hear about the current resistance and how we can show up In Defense of Black Lives.
