Today would have been Breonna Taylor’s 27th birthday. She was an EMT on the frontlines and was beloved by family and friends. Her murderers are still free.
Breonna should be alive today, but it has been 84 days since her murder and the officers responsible have not been held accountable. This is a gross injustice.
We cannot forget about Breonna. We cannot forget about Black women.
We must keep fighting for her, Sandra Bland, Rekia Boyd, Atatiana Jefferson, and the countless Black women who have lost their lives at the hands of police.
We must bring justice to Black women. We must say their names. We must fight for them.
That’s why I’m asking you to take meaningful action today by adding a donation to the Black Women’s Health Imperative. If you’re in a place to give, please do so right here:
Police violence against Black women is too often ignored and pushed to the margins. No more.
We must demand justice for Breonna Taylor right now. Her life mattered. Black lives matter.
Thank you for taking action.
