It’s Election Day in Wisconsin!

Voters have already turned out in strong numbers to cast early ballots for the supreme court race.

They understand the high stakes here. So does Elon Musk, who has spent nearly $20 million trying to elect the Trump-endorsed candidate and flip control of the court.

We’re fighting back to preserve the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s one-seat, pro-democracy majority — will you rush a donation of $5 or more before polls close to help elect candidates like Judge Susan Crawford in Wisconsin and fair maps champions around the country? [[link removed]]

On the last day of voting, we want to take a moment to reflect on what the outcome of this election will mean for folks in Wisconsin and nationwide.

Critical issues — reproductive freedom, voting rights, free elections, fair maps — are on the ballot.

Musk himself said he’s investing in this race in large part because of its stakes for redistricting. As he put it, if his candidate loses, “the Democrats will attempt to redraw the districts and cause Wisconsin to lose two Republican seats.” Republicans are doing everything they can to bring extreme partisan gerrymanders back to the state. And it’s all part of an attempt to flip the majority on the court to one that supports and enacts Trump’s far-right agenda.

This race will decide whether right-wing justices retake the court and have the power to decide high-profile cases that affect our most fundamental rights.

Wisconsin is also a key battleground state, so the makeup of the court could determine our country’s future by hearing challenges to the state’s congressional maps and new voting rules.

So with just hours left before polls close, we’re reaching out to ask if you can help power Democracy Defenders like Judge Susan Crawford to victory.

Please consider making a donation of $5 or more right away. We’re running out of time to turn out voters in Wisconsin, and we’ve got a lot of work ahead to elect more pro-democracy champions across the country as part of our 10 Year Plan for fair maps. Every contribution goes a long way to fight gerrymandering and protect our freedoms. [[link removed]]
