Trump’s Agenda is on The Line in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court Race

Katie Pavlich: On Tuesday, April 1 Wisconsin voters will head to the polls to put a new justice on the Badger State’s Supreme Court… The race for the seat (which is being vacated by retiring Justice Ann Bradley) is between Susan Crawford, a former Obama administration official, and former Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel. “He spent his life upholding the constitution, the rule law, keeping bad guys behind bars. She spent the last seven or eight years pandering to the left and letting those bad guys out of bars. That’s a good way to summarize it,” former Republican Governor Scott Walker tells Townhall… Given Wisconsin is a swing state and the court will determine future congressional districting, the race will have national implications. The wrong result could put a stop to President Donald Trump’s agenda (Townhall). End Wokeness: If we don’t win this Supreme Court race on Tuesday, this will be the new norm. Susan Crawford WILL end voter ID. Vote for Brad Schimel (X).

Florida’s Special Elections Could Determine Balance of Power in D.C.
Spectrum News: Voters around Central Florida are heading to the polls in several special elections throughout the state Tuesday. One election in particular could impact the balance of power in Washington, D.C. This special election was called after President Donald Trump nominated Rep. Michael Waltz to National Security Advisor at the beginning of his term. Waltz won the district by 33%, making it one that was previously thought of as a shoo-in for Republicans to fill. However, recent polling in the race has indicated a stronger chance for Democrats looking to narrow the gap. Florida Politics released a poll last week that showed Republican candidate and Florida state Sen. Randy Fine had just a four point lead in the racePresident Donald Trump has endorsed Fine and took part in a tele-rally for him just a short time ago. And the president’s close advisor, Elon Musk, is also getting involved in the race. Musk’s political action committee, America PAC, gave just over $10,000 to Fine’s campaign for “texting services.” Musk’s PAC also gave the same amount to current Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis’ campaign for the U.S. House District 1 seat (Spectrum News). DC Draino: Florida CD-1 – Go vote for Jimmy Patronis for Congress to fill Gaetz’s seat. Florida CD-6 – Go vote for Randy Fine for Congress to fill Mike Waltz’s seat. No excuses – Give Trump the votes he needs to pass the MAGA agenda in Congress (X)!

House to Vote on Bill Mandating Voter ID, Cleaning Up Voter Rolls
Daily Wire: The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), seeks to “amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to require proof of United States citizenship to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office.” Although the GOP-led House last year passed the SAVE Act, which also pushes states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls, the bill never got a vote in the Democrat-controlled Senate. Now, both chambers of Congress are commanded by Republicans… The moves came after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that threatens to strip federal funds from states that do not require proof of citizenship to register for federal elections (Daily Wire). Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN): This week, the House is voting on the SAVE Act—a critical bill to kick illegal aliens off our voter rolls and protect the integrity of our elections. Why are blue states seeing a surge in illegal immigration right as their own citizens flee failed policies? When population loss means losing power in Congress, it’s fair to ask: who’s really benefiting? No more delays. No more excuses. Let’s get it done (X).

Iran Responds to Trump’s Threat to Bomb Them
Townhall: The Iranian regime has reportedly loaded missiles on launchers in preparation for potential U.S. military action after President Donald Trump issued a threat to bomb the nation if it refused a new deal on nuclear weapons. NBC News’ Kristen Welker said on Sunday that President Trump told her that if Iran does not agree to a nuclear deal, “there will be bombing and it will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.” The Tehran Times, a government-run news outlet, reported that “Iran’s missiles are loaded onto launchers in all underground missile cities and are ready for launch” (Townhall). Tehran Times: Opening the Pandora’s box will come at a heavy cost for the U.S. government and its allies (X). NBC: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Monday the U.S. would receive a strong blow if it acts on President Donald Trump’s threat to bomb Tehran unless it reaches a new nuclear deal with Washington (NBC).

Los Angeles Times Sues City of L.A. for Withholding, Deleting Public Information About Wildfires
Los Angeles Times: The Los Angeles Times filed a lawsuit Thursday against the city of L.A., accusing officials of unlawfully withholding and deleting the mayor’s text messages and other public records from January’s firestorm. The city has already turned over many of the exchanges between Mayor Karen Bass and other officials sought by Times reporters. But officials have argued they are not compelled to do so under state public records laws. The Times disagreed. Empowering public officials to scrub their records or to decide which are subject to the law sets a dangerous precedent, Thursday’s suit argued. “It’s bigger than these text messages,” said Kelly Aviles, outside counsel for The Times. “The city seems to believe they can destroy whatever they want whenever they want, and that they don’t have a duty to the public to retain public records” (Los Angeles Times). Townhall: To recap, Bass was across the ocean in Ghana at the time the wildfires broke out and ravaged the Los Angeles area. She did this despite the fact that there was a warning about wildfires. Her text messages from this time have since been deleted because she has them on auto-delete after 30 days, the Times noted. However, the city’s administrative code says that texts must be retained for two years. Political reporter Julia Wick and investigative reporter Matt Hamilton sought the text messages and were initially told that they did not exist. Later, they were told the messages were deleted (Townhall).

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Shows the Massive Tariffs the World Forces on the Unites States
Daily Wire: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stood before reporters on Monday and listed off multiple tariffs imposed on American products by foreign nations, arguing that the “unfair trade practices” need to come to an end. Leavitt pointed to massive tariffs from the European Union, Japan, India, and Canada, saying, “It’s time for reciprocity.” President Donald Trump is preparing to announce a round of reciprocal tariffs on April 2, a day he has labeled “Liberation Day in America” (Daily Wire). Rapid Responds 47: Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt details the unfair trade practices that are hurting American business: 50% tariff from the EU on American dairy. 700% tariff from Japan on rice. 100% tariff from India on agricultural products. “This makes it virtually impossible for American products to be imported into these markets… it’s time for reciprocity” (X).

Trump Administration Investigates Grants Given to Harvard
Wall Street Journal: The Trump administration is turning its sights to Harvard University, announcing a review of nearly $9 billion in federal grants and contracts as part of its investigation into how schools have handled antisemitism. The administration said it will examine $255.6 million in current contracts and $8.7 billion in grants spread over multiple years. The review follows the government’s cancellation earlier this month of $400 million in grants and contracts with Columbia University over similar concerns. Columbia agreed to meet the government’s demands as a precondition to negotiate for the return of the money. On Friday, Columbia’s interim president stepped down after making comments in private meetings with faculty that downplayed changes the school agreed to with the Trump administration. The government so far is reviewing, not canceling, the grants and contracts at Harvard (Wall Street Journal).

Pete Hegseth Mandates Men, Women Have Same Standards to Enter Combat Roles
Just the News: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Monday announced that the Pentagon would end the practice of setting separate physical fitness standards for women to serve in combat roles… The move comes as Hegseth works to remove social indoctrination and engineering programs from the military and move toward a merit-based, apolitical armed forces with an emphasis on warfighting (Just the News). Pete Hegseth: Different physical standards for men and women in the U.S. military have existed for a long time. BUT, there were also combat roles that were male-only. Then, under Obama, all combat roles were opened to men AND women. BUT, different physical fitness standards for men and women remained. Today at Department of Defense— we fix this. All combat roles are open to men and women BUT they must all meet the same, high standard. No standards will be lowered AND all combat roles will only have sex-neutral standards. Common sense (X).

Reporter Chuck Todd Advises Kamala Harris to Not Run for California Governor in 2026: “There's no path for you"
Washington Examiner: Former Meet the Press host Chuck Todd was incredibly skeptical over a possible California gubernatorial run by former Vice President Kamala Harris in 2026, saying he would be “shocked” if she pursued this. Harris’s name has been floated as a candidate for either the 2026 California gubernatorial election or the 2028 presidential election, with Todd arguing that running in the former race would rule out running in the latter. However, a major challenge that Harris and “any conventional Democrat” running in California’s 2026 election will face is that the Democratic Party has held the governor’s mansion for 16 years and voters will look to someone from “the outside” (Washington Examiner). Proud Elephant: Chuck Todd issues a warning to Kamala Harris: “Don’t run for the Governor of California again. There’s no path for you” (X).

Resurfaced Video Shows Rep. Jasmine Crockett Criticizing Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) for Marrying a White Woman
Townhall: In comments from June during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” that have been circulating over X in recent days, Crockett went after the congressman for being married to a white woman. He’s been married to Erica Donalds for over 20 years, and they have three sons together. Speaking about “continuing to put people into office,” Crockett then mentioned that “that even means some of our skinfolk, who definitely are not our kinfolk, such as Byron Donalds, who are going to continue to say, like, I mean, the fact that you sittin’ around, talking about life was better under Jim Crow,” she claimed about the congressman. “Like, is this because you don’t understand history, or literally it’s because you married a white woman and so you think that they whitewashing you,” she continued, throwing up her hands and adding, “I’m not really sure like what it is!” During her back and forth with the host, Crockett doubled down on how “it’s a joy to call Donalds out for his marriage.” She also claimed he took his “talking points” from others, complying with a “‘yes massa, I got it” (Townhall). Free Beacon: Crockett’s comments toward Donalds take on a new light after she mocked Texas’s wheelchair-bound governor Greg Abbott (R.), calling him “Governor Hot Wheels.” After facing backlash, Crockett claimed she was not referring to Abbott’s disability (Free Beacon). Commentator American AF: Jasmine Crockett SLAMS Byron Donald’s for marrying a white woman.. “He’s been whitewashed” (X).
