I know my team and I have reached out a lot this week about the importance of hitting our FEC fundraising goal – thanks for sticking with me.

I’m up late crunching the numbers with my finance director, and with only a few hours until our deadline, we’re just $2,560 short of where we need to be.

We’re only two months into Trump’s second term, and he and Elon Musk are illegally firing thousands of federal employees and veterans, embroiled in a national security scandal, and running our democracy into the ground.

It has to stop. I’m working day and night from my positions on the Appropriations Committee – where Congress controls the power of the purse – and the newly-formed Litigation and Response Task Force.

But I’ll be honest: The best way to hold this administration accountable is by winning the House majority next year.

It simply can’t be done without keeping this seat blue.

That’s why tonight’s deadline is critical – this is our first test of the new administration, and we need a strong grassroots showing to fend off Republican attacks.
