This is my first FEC deadline since I was sworn into Congress. A whole lot has happened since I landed in Washington – I’ve spent my time advocating for wildfire aid, pushing back against the chaos from the White House, and prioritizing CA-27 families.
Republicans haven’t stopped taking notice since I flipped one of their seats last November. If anything, they’ve made me more of a target than before. The attacks we’re seeing from super PACs confirms it.
Only a few seats separate control of the House majority. Republicans have a razor-thin majority right now, but as we look ahead to the midterm elections, it’s going to be even closer.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this seat could make or break our chances. Democrats must keep every competitive seat (like mine) in order to stop the chaos.
