Tell us your opinions about Wyoming's hunting seasons

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department welcomes the public to the ongoing 2025 hunting season-setting meetings across the state. Attending these events is one way to learn about local wildlife populations, ask questions and visit with local Game and Fish biologists and wardens.

Copies of the proposed regulations are available on the Game and Fish *public meeting webpage [ [link removed] ]*. [ [link removed]. ] In addition, Biologists' presentations containing information on season proposals for each district can be found on *our website [ [link removed] ]* and *YouTube channel [ [link removed] ]*.

Raffle tickets still available for Commissioner's License offered through First Lady's Wyoming Hunger Initiative

Elk

Raffle tickets for a Wyoming Game and Fish Department Commissioner’s license [ [link removed] ] are still available for purchase while supplies last. Proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Wyoming Hunger Initiative's Food from the Field program led by First Lady Jennie Gordon. This program is a partnership between Game and Fish and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture that addresses food insecurity in Wyoming by allowing hunters to donate deer and elk meat to food pantries across Wyoming.

With passage of HB211, Game and Fish encourages safe hunting practices

The passage of House Bill 211, which amends Wyoming Statute 23-3-306 regarding shooting wildlife from vehicles, took effect in February following Gov. Mark Gordon’s official signature. Although the amendment does relax some of the statutes for shooting from a vehicle, *important restrictions remain in place and should be noted by the public. [ [link removed] ]*
