After midnight tonight, my campaign is required by federal law to pull together a report of how much we’ve raised and publicly file that report with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
In 2024, this was one of the closest House races in the entire country. Republicans flipped this seat red and held onto their House majority by fewer than 2,500 votes!
But with less than 6 hours to go until our first end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline of the year, we’re still short of our $100,000 goal and what we need to win this critical toss-up seat.

In 2024, Mike Johnson and his billionaire-funded Super PACs spent $15 million to buy this seat and turn it red. It was one of the closest – and most expensive – House races in the entire country.
I’m not taking money from corporate PACs, and I also come from a working-class family. If we’re going to take on the billionaires and flip this toss-up seat back to being blue, I‘m counting on grassroots donors like you to help me hit every goal – and we still have a few thousand dollars left to raise before our first end-of-quarter FEC deadline at midnight tonight.
Growing up, we had to rely on Medicaid and food stamps to make ends meet, so I know the value of a dollar. I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important: Will you make a donation to my campaign right now – no amount is too small – to help me flip this toss-up seat blue and take back the House for Democrats?
