Seriously, John -- in an interview yesterday Trump said he wants a third term and interrupted the interviewer to clarify that he wasn't joking . He's already called himself a "king", and he's been reshaping our entire government in his and Elon's image.
It's simple: Privatizing the USPS doesn't help Americans, it will harm rural communities all over the country, and it will remove a vital public service from our everyday lives. In addition, it'll destroy a safe, secure, and widely-used method of voting that is critical for those rural communities, for the disabled, and for our senior citizens.
We can't and we won't let them get away with this, but do fight back we need resources. RUSH $25 or more right now to protect mail-in voting, defend the USPS, and fight for the public services we need most >> [[link removed]]

WaPo - Opinion: A frantic warning from 100 leading experts: Our democracy is in grave danger [[link removed]]
We’ll keep this short, John: those experts are right.
The attacks of the last few years in our state legislatures across the country targeting the right to vote, especially minority communities, are an assault on our democracy.
Now Musk and the MAGA movement want to privatize our postal service and harm mail-in voting , which has helped millions of Americans vote -- not just in the pandemic, but going back to the states that adopted the widespread practice in the early 90's.
“ Our entire democracy is now at risk ,” they wrote. “ History will judge what we do at this moment. ”
With so much at stake now -- not just with voting rights -- we've got to push our efforts to fight back into overdrive ASAP.
John, none of this happens without everyone doing their share. Fuel our work with $25 or whatever you can today to stop the destruction of our government, save our democracy, and protect the right to vote >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
