John --
When President Trump directed a police assault on peaceful protestors outside the White House, for no reason other than to stroke his own ego with a photo-op, it appalled and shocked the conscience of America. In this country, everyone has the right to peacefully protest and speak out on what they believe without facing brutal attacks from law enforcement -- and the fact that those words must be said right now is atrocious. Retired Marine General and former Secretary of Defense James Mattis -- who served under Trump -- wrote an op-ed condemning him and declaring the president a threat to the constitution. Senator Lisa Murkowski declared that what she saw "was not the America that I know" and then questioned how she could support the president going forward. Senator Dan Sullivan? He has been cowardly and has remained silent. If Sullivan can't be bothered to stand up for the right of protestors to peacefully assemble, how are Alaskans and working people ever supposed to believe Sullivan will fight for them? They can't. And Dan Sullivan has proven time and again that he won't. I will. If you're with me to bring a prescription for change to Washington based on fairness, equality, and justice for all who call America home, please chip in $5 or more to this grassroots campaign right now. Thank you, Dr. Al Gross
