I wanted to fill you in on new developments with our campaign from the past week
<>
Friend, this week our entire country has been turned upside down again. It’s
been an emotional time but we’ve come together in NY-22.
Here are some of the highlights from this week:
We mourned as a nation
Our nation is grieving for the tragic killing of George Floyd caused by the
brutality of a bad cop. The depraved acts of all the officers who either
committed or stood idly by while a man’s life was unjustly taken must be
condemned.
We also must not allow violent rioters to derail the peaceful protests and
risk the safety of citizens and law enforcement.
This has gone on long enough. The looting and destruction are causing
irreparable harm to businesses on the heels of the Coronavirus pandemic.
New York must deploy all available law enforcement including the National
Guard to assist local police and maintain law and order in our communities.
Mr. Floyd’s family is pleading and praying for peace to honor his life.

Met with our NY-22 farmers!
<[link removed]>
I held a Zoom roundtable with farmers across #NY22 to discuss the various
issues they are facing. Family farms are the bedrock of our Upstate economy and
I will continue to tirelessly advocate for our hardworking agriculture
community!

Called out Brindisi’s deafening silence
<[link removed]>
Anthony Brindisi’s silence speaks volumes. Join me at WheresBrindisi.com

our petition to hold him accountable for abandoning elderly New Yorkers.

Stood up for local business
<[link removed]>
If violent rioters can loot stores, assault police and defame public property,
our Upstate small businesses can safely re-open. We have taken the necessary
precautions to flatten the curve. Re-open New York!

WE BACK THE BLUE
<[link removed]>
My heart goes out to our brave police officers serving on the front lines of
these violent riots. Bad actors are trampling the legacy of George Floyd by
looting, burning and now assaulting law enforcement. City and State officials
cannot let this go on any longer. We need decisive leadership that will put an
end to the senseless violence.
