Yesterday, Adam asked if you would join him in supporting four groups doing important work in the fight for racial justice as millions of people across our country and the world are rising up to say "Black Lives Matter."
So far, we've raised about $50,000 for them, which is incredible.
Help us keep up the momentum by splitting a contribution to Black Lives Matter Global Network, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Campaign Zero, and the Bail Project now.

Dear John,
All of us were sickened and appalled when just last week we witnessed the final moments of George Floyd’s life, as a Minneapolis police officer put his knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck and kept it there for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.
We were horrified, and yet with added horror, we realize just how often we have seen similar acts of horrendous violence against Black Americans. George Floyd was far from the first Black American to be wrongfully brutalized and killed by police in the United States, and without real, structural change to fix the system, we know he won’t be the last.
In the days since, hundreds of thousands of people across the country and all over the world have marched and protested against racism, injustice, and police brutality. In Los Angeles and around the nation, Americans are demanding justice for George Floyd, but not only that — they are saying, “ Black Lives Matter ,” and they are insisting on change until our society reflects that simple truth.
I stand with them.
As President Obama said yesterday, “so many young people have been galvanized and activated and motivated and mobilized,” and that makes me hopeful. We’re witnessing a truly historic moment in which a diverse array of people from all walks of life are standing up, speaking out, and peacefully protesting for a desperately needed change in this country.
In this historic moment, it’s critical that those of us with platforms, power, and privilege take a step back to listen, acknowledge, and lift up the voices of those who don’t.
Today, I’d like to ask you to join me in directly supporting the work of four groups on the front lines of the fight for justice.
If you’re able to, take an important step in supporting the fight for racial justice by making a split donation to Black Lives Matter Global Network, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Campaign Zero, and the Bail Project.

If you’re not in a position to donate right now, there are other ways you can actively help make a difference. Attend a local event or protest in your community (wear a mask and keep distance), volunteer at an organization committed to racial justice, support Black-owned businesses, read a book about this issue, share informational resources, talk to your friends and family about the importance of fighting racism, and most importantly, listen.
Thank you,
Adam
