Congress is not in session this week, so I’ve spent a lot of time speaking with and listening to folks in the Philly suburbs and communities around PA.

I’ve had a lot of sobering conversations — folks are already feeling the real-world impacts of this administration’s cruelty and greed. They’re feeling deeply afraid about the future.

My Republican colleagues, meanwhile, are nowhere to be found — the Republican Speaker of the House told his caucus not to bother meeting with constituents! You know what that tells me? Their agenda does not come from their communities. The MAGA agenda does not come from the people, but – sadly – the billionaires.

While the Republicans are leaning back, I have more clarity than ever. I’m leaning in — investing in more staff, more town hall meetings, more Q&A sessions, and more rapid response.
