Considering the massive propaganda effort to brainwash Americans into believing that climate change will doom humanity ([link removed] ) if we don’t stop burning fossil fuels yesterday, it is impressive to see just how little the American public buys the narrative.
A recent poll finds that Americans value energy independence ([link removed] ) , keeping car prices lower, and reducing the cost of electricity ahead of fighting climate change.
When asked, “Is it more important to make America energy independent or fight climate change?” most respondents (57%) chose energy independence, while another 39% chose climate change, and 4% said they were not sure.
When asked, “Which is more important, reducing greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change, or keeping the price of cars low enough for families to afford them?” about half of respondents (50%) chose keeping car prices low, while 43% said reducing greenhouse gas emissions was more important. The remaining 7% said they were not sure.

DEI Is Dying
President Donald Trump ended federal diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
Even before, companies were having second thoughts.
Victoria’s Secret changed “diversity, equity, and inclusion” to “inclusion and belonging.”
Now, even woke Disney ([link removed] ) , despite squandering $270 million shareholder dollars on a moronic new version of “Snow White,” joined the mob of companies dropping DEI programs.
Why? Diversity, equity and inclusion ([link removed] ) sound good.
The problem is that DEI programs were captured by activists who obsess about victimhood. They divide people more than they empower.

Study: Having Kids Increases Happiness
A new study of survey data suggests that having kids can increase the happiness and well-being that adults experience. The report comes as record low birthrates continue to occur in the U.S. and in other developed nations across the globe.
The analysis ([link removed] ) , conducted by Research Fellow Ken Burchfiel at the Institute for Family Studies, looked at data from the 2021 American Time Use Survey (ATUS) of U.S. adults aged 25 to 50. Burchfiel found that “In general, activities with children score highest on well-being. For instance, 56% of activity time receives the highest meaningfulness rating when children are present, whereas only 37% of time spent with other individuals does. Similarly, respondents are more likely to assign the highest happiness rating to time spent on activities with their kids (44%) than without (25%).”
The study further found that respondents rated their experiences of eating, socializing, and doing household activities as more enjoyable when their kids were present. Burchfiel also found that, just as parenthood is generally associated ([link removed] ) with having “greater meaning in life,” respondents said that their experiences of traveling, dining, socializing, and performing household activities are more meaningful when done with their kids.
In addition, Burchfiel noted that respondents reported that time spent with their children was equally if not more likely to produce a high level of happiness and meaningfulness than time spent with their spouse. “In other words,” he observed, “even if parents are not able to get as much couple time in as before having kids, the gift of time with their kids may more than compensate.”
