Today is the last day of the quarter, which means my end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline expires in just a few hours. In a moment, I’m going to ask you to please chip in to help me reach my $10,000 goal.

But before I do, I want to touch on something else.

Today marks 70 days since Donald Trump began his second term as President – and in just 70 days Trump and his billionaire buddies have wrecked so much havoc across our country.

In just 70 days:

• Elon Musk, Donald Trump’s right hand man, said that he wants to “eliminate” Social Security;
• Linda McMahon, the unqualified billionaire appointed to lead the Department of Education has begun dismantling it under Trump’s direction;
• DOGE canceled critical healthcare programs, denying life-saving medication from millions of people;
• Trump has started a trade war with our closest allies and enacted tariffs that will raise costs for working families;
• And senior officials in Trump’s cabinet risked the lives of American servicemen and women and created a national security breach by discussing confidential attack plans over Signal.

It feels surreal that this much damage could be done in just 2 and a half months. That’s why it’s so critical we build a strong grassroots team that can push back against the Trump-Vance-Musk agenda.

John, this end-of-quarter deadline might feel like just another fundraising tactic. But the reality is that Republicans will be looking over our FEC report to see if we have the resources necessary to fight back.
