We are in deep turmoil across the country and the globe. Most of us have seen these murders before, these reactions before, these calls for change before. Most of us understand that those who dominate the culture bear the responsibility for the outcome.

We live in a very white neighborhood - and it is SILENT right now. Is that telling?

Our voices are like our votes. Each one counts. When politicians and leaders who are dependent on popular support see no reaction, hear only silence, they have no impetus to call out as a lonely voice for change. Where is their support? And what are we each doing personally to right these wrongs?

Let’s use our “voices.” We will line La Cañada and Esperanza, standing some feet apart, safely masked, and silent with our own posters. I am not asking for sponsorship or a parade permit. We are the people.

All wishing to join me are welcome - bring a friend, make your signs!! PLEASE wear a mask and maintain safe distance or sadly you will not be welcomed. I appreciate your caring for our community. I will understand reluctance and inability to be out at this time. Your support can be shown in many other ways also.
