We've endorsed Jackie Gordon (NY-02), Candace Valenzuela (TX-24), and Patricia Timmons-Goodson (NC-08) to turn House seats BLUE this November.
Candace experienced homelessness as a teenager, and knows what it means to rely on the social safety net Republicans are intent on dismantling. She defeated an 18-year incumbent on the local school board as a first-time candidate in 2018, and we know she can win her race for Congress and bring her vital perspective to Washington, too.
Pat is a civil rights leader, nominated in 2016 by President Obama to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. The Republican-led Senate never voted on her nomination, and we need her voice in Congress now more than ever.
Jackie is a dedicated public servant. She retired from the Army Reserve with the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2014 and worked on her community's town council (one of only two Black candidates elected to her county's town board in the last 30 years). This is an open seat following Peter King's retirement, and we know Jackie can win it!
