Aloha — It’s an honor to serve as your governor, and to work for you every day to reduce homelessness, build new housing, and make Hawaii a little more affordable for our people.

This month we’ve protected the University of Hawaii from federal cuts, helped federal workers affected by layoffs, and begun providing compensation for those who lost the most in the Maui wildfires.

We also continue to build new kauhale villages across our islands to give struggling people a chance for a better life, and to keep reducing homelessness in our state.
