First: Senator Richard Burr sat in on classified briefings on COVID-19;

Then: He sold off his stock portfolio while downplaying the virus' threat to the American people;

Senator Burr took confidential information that was intended to protect the public and used it for his own personal financial gain. Then he misled the American public about the threats they faced while allegedly telling his brother-in-law about the TRUE impact this crisis would have on the American economy.

This type of behavior from an elected official is inexcusable.
