It was an honor to serve as the Senator for North Dakota for six years. It's heartbreaking that I was the last Democrat to do so.

Back when I was first elected, it felt like most everyone had a stake in doing what was best for our community.

No one rooted for failure.

But at some point, extremists pushed in, bringing skepticism, fear, and profiteering.

So that's why we're here – because we want reliable, levelheaded leaders who aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe in no matter who's in charge at the White House.

So, we've changed up our strategy to meet folks wherever they are – in small towns or college towns or on family farms – to build the power we need to bring back common-sense lawmaking in this country.

We're fighting to protect Social Security, save reliable mail service, and make high-speed internet accessible no matter where you live for every single farmer, rancher, and working family out there.

But we are not naïve about what it's going to take to accomplish our goals in this new era: it's going to take time, money, and strategy.

If you like what you hear, consider tossing a few bucks in the coffers before the end of the quarter tonight. [[link removed]]
