Reflecting on our journey over the past five years, it's clear this team has achieved remarkable success together.

Back in 2018, we accomplished the extraordinary by electing the youngest Black woman to Congress, defying expectations and making history 💪🏾

In 2020, facing immense political hurdles, we managed to secure a win by just 5,374 votes in one of the most closely contested House races of the year 🗳️.

Come the 2022 midterms, we stood strong against the challenges brought by Illinois' redistricting, which introduced 70% new territory and thousands of voters who were unfamiliar with me 🙋🏽.

And this past year, I fended off a strong challenge from Republican Jim Marter. Thanks to our united efforts, I’m proud to serve in Congress for the fourth term and our leadership in the House 🏛️.

Together, we've championed vital laws to enhance health care access, decrease health care coverage costs for 21.3 million Americans, lower insulin prices for seniors, make significant investments in infrastructure, tackle the climate crisis, and much more.

In just over 6 years, 19 pieces of legislation we've crafted have been signed into law, spanning two different administrations.

Reflecting on these achievements fuels my optimism and determination. Once again, we can protect this seat and continue our impactful work. We’ve proven our capacity to achieve anything we dedicate ourselves to.

However, our mission isn’t complete. Donald Trump and his allies in the House are doing anything to force an extreme MAGA agenda through Congress.

That MAGA agenda has looked like illegally firing life-long civil servants and veterans 🪖.

That MAGA agenda has meant dismantling and defunding the Department of Education 📚.

That MAGA agenda has meant letting an unelected billionaire wreak chaos and havoc through government agencies 🌪️.

I’m doing everything I can to stand up to this agenda, but I need this grassroots team with me in order to keep doing this work.

Every supporter on this team matters immensely to me. I know that earning your trust and vote requires relentless work.
