Friends,
Politics is a crazy field.
Sometimes, it breaks your heart. Sometimes, it lets you down.
But every once in a while – when the timing is right, when the people rise up, when the momentum builds – you get the chance to do something that nobody saw coming.
And you know what? We’re right there.
I’m Gay Valimont, and I’m running to flip Matt Gaetz’s former seat. I know what people say about this district. I’ve lived here a long time. I know the reputation. I’ve heard the jokes.
But I’ve also been out on the doors, at the town halls, on the phones. I’ve seen the spark.
People who have voted Republican their whole lives are telling me, “You’ve got guts.” Democrats who’ve given up on Florida are asking, “Wait… could this actually happen?” And folks who’ve never voted at all are saying, “I’m with you.”
This is real.
We’re in striking distance. 24 hours to go. 24 hours to shock the country. 24 hours to do what everyone said was impossible.
It doesn’t hurt to dream. And right now, I’m dreaming of something that’s been called impossible in this district—a Democrat winning, not just running.
But dreaming isn’t enough. We need to fight for this. We need to push through to the very end. That means everything we’ve got—every call, every door, every vote.
And yes, it means the resources to finish strong. That’s why I’m asking:
Will you make a contribution today to help us give it everything we’ve got in these final hours?
