8 years ago today, Turning Point USA was established!

8 years ago, I called Bill Montgomery and told him I had the name to start a movement that would capture the next generation around the idea of freedom and liberty. I told him the name of the movement would be “Turning Point USA.”
To this day, I am immensely thankful for Bill Montgomery’s belief in me personally, and the mentorship he gave Turning Point USA. Thank you, Bill!
In just 8 years, TPUSA has built the most organized, active, and powerful young conservative grassroots network in the country.
To celebrate our 8th Birthday, take a look at TPUSA’s TOP 8 ACCOMPLISHMENTS since this time LAST YEAR:
It all started in this garage in Illinois. From this garage, the largest, most impactful conservative youth movement in American history was born. From the heartland to coast to coast!
Now, in addition to the Bill and Rebecca Dunn Freedom Center in Phoenix, AZ and our Distribution Center in Chicago, IL, TPUSA expanded our National Footprint with two new compounds of conservatism:
The TPUSA Embassy in Washington, DC
The Edward C. Zeman Logistics Center in Phoenix, AZ
The President of the United States signed an executive order to protect free speech on college campuses with many TPUSA activists present in the Oval Office. So often, conservative activists are targeted and attacked for expressing their views on campus.
In 2019, TPUSA trained and empowered student leaders from across the country to with 127 Student Government Association leadership positions at the nation's biggest, most influential universities.
In 2020, conservatives have won 95 student leadership positions on campus, ensuring a more balanced and fair environment on campus.
The greatest voices in the conservative movement - including Donald Trump Jr., Lara Trump, Senator Rand Paul, & Kimberly Guilfoyle - joined TPUSA on EIGHT college campuses last fall for the Culture War Tour.
The Culture War Tour hosted over 5,900 attendees on campus - with an additional 665+ THOUSAND viewers watching the livestream.
TPUSA has built a conservative digital ARMY of 200 Ambassadors and Contributors, skyrocketing our digital reach to over 28 MILLION USERS across all platforms.
Since launching in 2019, AWARD WINNING TPUSA Productions has swept the digital playing field with over 250 ORIGINAL pieces of content, 700+ MILLION views across all platforms.
"Cuba, Uncovered" - recently awarded the Telly Award for Digital Production - has been viewed more than 36 MILLION times.
Following the Teen Student Action Summit in 2019, we saw a record-breaking spike in chapter growth - over 700 inquiries from activists wanting to fight the American Culture War on their campus.
In 2020, TPUSA established 887 chapters - on pace for our goal of 1,000 chapters nationwide!
We were honored to host the BIGGEST NAMES in politics at our educational training events. By the end of 2019, TPUSA National Events trained over 10,000 conservative activists - hitting MAX CAPACITY at our Student Action Summit.
In 2020, TPUSA has directly engaged and trained over 3,500 activists DIGITALLY through virtual events and chapter meetings.
I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished at TPUSA, and how we have overcome adversity time and time again.
