NYS Child Tax Credit Expansion

Governor Hochul's proposal to expand the Empire State Child Tax Credit would triple the credit for children under 4 and double the average credit for all families. This is a critical step toward easing the burden on parents and addressing the affordability crisis. We need your help to make this happen! Contact your representatives today and urge them to support this initiative, which will help working families, support moms in need, and lift children out of poverty. Your voice can make a difference!

The Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA)

Congress is currently drafting the next update to federal tax laws and inclusion of the all-important ECCA remains in question. The ECCA will enable taxpayers to redirect a portion of their federal income taxes to increase educational scholarships – as opposed to automatically sending it to the IRS. The increase in scholarships will enable more families to choose Catholic schools as well as ease the tuition burden on all Catholic school families. Please contact your federal representatives to urge enactment of the ECCA.

Stop Assisted Suicide in NY

Proponents of doctor-assisted suicide are continuing to try to legalize this deadly practice in New York. There is another BIG push this year and we need your help.

Lawmakers need to hear from their constituents if we hope to avoid yet another assault on the dignity of human life. Assisted suicide is dangerous for patients, caregivers, and vulnerable populations such as the elderly and people with disabilities. Suicide is not medical care. Please tell your State Senate and Assembly representatives that you oppose this dangerous and deadly practice. Contact your legislators now!
