| John, Randy Feenstra, our opponent for the November election, embodies exactly what we need to reform in our government: the corroding influence of big, special interest money. While J.D. has sworn off corporate PAC money and is backed by people, not special interests, Randy Feenstra has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in special interest funds so far this election cycle. When so many farmers in our district are struggling to stay on their land and make a dime, how can we trust Randy Feenstra to stand up to multinational corporations that are consolidating the ag industry, pushing out smaller farms, and underpaying our farmers? How can we make our government work for people, not corporations, when Randy Feenstra’s campaign coffers are filled by special interest groups who don’t want to see changes to lobbying laws?
