Dear Friend,

I don’t know how to do this. I don’t know how to ask for help like this. But I
am BEGGING you.

My name is Kimberly Bretches. My husband, Chance, is a good man—a devoted
father, a loving husband, and a police officer who put everything on the line
to protect his community. And now, because he did his job, he’s facing a trial
that could take him away from us forever.

I still can’t believe this is happening.

I see the fear in his eyes even when he tries to hide it. I hear it in his
voice when he talks about the trial. He won’t say it out loud, but I know he’s
thinking about what happens to our family if the worst happens. And, to be
honest, I am too.

How do I explain to our babies that their daddy might not come home? How do I
make them understand that the man who reads them bedtime stories, who plays
with them in the backyard, who has dedicated his life to protecting others, is
now fighting for his own freedom?

He doesn’t deserve this. Our children don’t deserve this.

Everything we’ve built together—our home, our dreams, our future—could be
taken away in an instant. And all because Chance did what he was trained to do.

If you’ve ever thought about standing up for the men and women who wear the
badge… if you’ve ever believed that justice should still mean something… now is
the time to act.

Because right now, my husband is staring down a system that no longer protects
those who protect us. And we can’t fight it alone.

Please, stand with Chance before it’s too late.

We need help, and we need it NOW. Every single dollar will go toward his legal
defense—toward making sure he has a fighting chance in a courtroom where the
odds are already stacked against him.

I don’t want to think about what happens if we fail.

Please, if you can, send whatever you can afford. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50,
or more—every donation is a lifeline for my husband, for our family, and for
the truth.

I never thought we’d be in this position. I never thought I’d have to send a
message like this, asking for strangers to help keep our family together.

But here we are.

And all I can do is beg you—please help before it’s too late.

DONATE NOW to stand with my husband, Chance Bretches.

With gratitude,

Kimberly Bretches
