Grand Opening: National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington

The Medal of Honor is the nation's highest military decoration for valor in combat by our heroes in the armed forces, symbolizing courage, sacrifice, commitment, integrity, citizenship, and patriotism. This week, on National Medal of Honor Day, the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas opened to the public. This museum is a one-of-a-kind tribute to those who risked, and, in many cases, sacrificed, their lives to save their fellow soldiers and others. I was honored to receive a challenge coin from Medal of Honor recipient, Major General James Livingston. Our thanks will never be enough for his courage, sacrifice, and immense leadership while answering the call of duty.

Wednesday, The subcommittee on Financial Institutions & Monetary Policy held a hearing examining ways to balance power and reprioritize consumer protections. Watch my line of questioning here.
