Donald Trump and his Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, have laid out their plan to illegally shut down the Department of Education. It would cut the department’s workforce by nearly half, gutting critical programs that support K-12 schools, higher education financial aid, and the protections for the Office for Civil Rights.

Emerge Alum Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell is leading a coalition of 20 Attorneys General from across the country to stop Trump’s unlawful attempts to shut down the department.
