Folks,If your inbox looks anything like ours, you’re probably getting a lot of emails about the March 31st FEC fundraising deadline.

And maybe you’re wondering why a donation to the NDRC is the best place to make an investment right now. We’ll explain why:

As a grassroots organization, donations in response to emails like this are critical to how we fund our work. And right now, we’re focused on supporting several key elections this year, including one of the most important battleground races of the year: the Wisconsin Supreme Court election in TWO DAYS.

As we close in on this critical election, we’ve set an ambitious goal to get 30 new donors from your state before midnight tomorrow.

Will you make a donation of $30 or more to help power our movement during the final stretch of the crucial Wisconsin Supreme Court race? Your donation will help elect Democracy Defenders nationwide. [[link removed]]

We’re not exaggerating when we say that Wisconsin is one of the most important elections of the year — and you don’t have to take it from us.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is one of the biggest spenders in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race — spending more than $19 million (and counting) in support of the conservative candidate. Here’s why, in Musk’s own words:

“[This election] will decide how congressional districts are drawn in Wisconsin, which if the other candidate wins, instead of Justice Schimel, then the Democrats will attempt to redraw the districts and cause Wisconsin to lose two Republican seats. In my opinion that’s the most important thing, which is a big deal given that the congressional majority is so razor-thin. It could cause the House to switch to Democrat[ic] if that redrawing takes place.”Our read? The reason Musk and Trump’s closest allies are all-in on Wisconsin is because they want to stop fair electoral maps and continue the extreme partisan gerrymanders of the past.

President Obama said it best: “Our democracy is stronger today because of the NDRC — but our work together is far from complete, and more important than ever.”

With just over 24 hours before the FEC deadline, and 48 hours to Election Day, we hope you’ll be one of the 30 news donors we need from your state .

Please donate $30 or more today and help step up for democracy in Wisconsin and beyond. [[link removed]]
