Dear Friend,
For 29 years, tech companies have been actively facilitating sexual exploitation with impunity.
This has led to stories like the following:
👉 A child with severe autism is sexually assaulted by four adult men after being matched with these men on a dating app that aggressively markets to children.
👉 Twitter refused to take down child sexual abuse material of sex trafficked minors, saying “We’ve reviewed the content, and it does not violate our policies.”
👉 An 11-year-old is paired with a 30-year-old male predator on a video chat platform and was sexually exploited for three years.
All these victims have been barred from receiving justice. Why?
Because Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act shields tech companies from being held liable for their harmful products.
Section 230 has been in existence for 29 years. Enough is enough. THIS is the year it must end.
Don’t let 230 get to 30!
Join the Defender Coalition to end Section 230 and all sexual exploitation!
Defenders are passionate individuals who donate monthly to the fight to end sexual exploitation. A key focus in that fight this year is pushing Congress to repeal Section 230, before this dystopian law becomes 30 years old.
We can’t afford to have another year of children facing rampant sexual exploitation online, while those who profit from their abuse go free.
And it’s not just about justice for survivors—it's about protecting all our children.
Because here’s the truth: unless tech companies face liability, there is no motivation for them to make their platforms safer. Children will continue to be sexually exploited without end.
Protect our children.
Stop Section 230’s reign of terror.
Become a Defender now.
