Chuck Schumer and a handful of Senate Democrats just helped pass a GOP-led continuing resolution that funds federal operations through September — further enabling Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s ongoing assault on government agencies.
Instead of fighting for us and using their leverage to protect everyday working people, Democratic leaders gave in to Trump, Elon Musk, and the billionaire class!
This is just the latest example of Democratic leaders caving instead of fighting for the people who put them in power.
That is why we’re joining our partners to DEMAND that Chuck Schumer fight for us or step aside for a new generation of leaders.
If Democrats want our support, they must fight like our future depends on it — because it does.
Trump and Elon Musk have been dismantling our federal government, from cutting crucial services like health care to giving handouts to the ultra-wealthy. We need Democrats to act like this is a five-alarm fire – because it is!!!
Democrats need to prove they’re on our side, obstructing the MAGA agenda at every turn and giving us something to vote for. We won’t stand by while Democrats pander to the right instead of delivering bold, transformative policies that empower our communities.
Democrats, this is your wake-up call. If you refuse to fight for our future, we will find leaders who will. Add your name to demand Chuck Schumer fight for us or step aside for someone who will.
