Dear John. We know these are disheartening and frustrating times.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are unleashing chaos on our government and the people of this country. From firing hundreds of staff only to rehire them the next day, to sharing military plans in a group chat with a reporter, to cutting Medicaid to pay for billionaire tax cuts, people are rightfully angry.

And many of you are crying out for someone to “DO SOMETHING” about all of this. We get it.

As the California Democratic Party, there’s only so much we can do directly in Washington DC. But that doesn’t mean we are sitting on our hands. Here’s what we are doing directly to empower our representatives and take the fight to Donald Trump and Elon Musk:

1️⃣ We launched a MASSIVE organizing campaign that’s targeting swing seat Republicans. We’ve already made countless calls and are running digital activations as well.

2️⃣ We just held our first grassroots town hall in one of the most vulnerable GOP districts that we plan to flip from red to blue. We want to do more of these meetings across the state!

3️⃣ We are supporting California Strong Democrats who are standing up to Trump, including Senator Adam Schiff, Senator Alex Padilla, and Attorney General Rob Bonta who is suing Donald Trump — among many others.

We know these are very scary times. We feel it too. But we aren’t throwing in the towel and giving up. We are running plays every single week to hold the GOP’s feet to the fire and take back control of the U.S. House. But we can’t do it without you.
