A new chapter for Texas Democrats starts today.

We’d like to introduce Kendall Scudder, the new Chair of the Texas Democratic Party!

Kendall Scudder has a long track record of helping build power for our party – and as Chair, he’s ready to lead us into this next chapter. The son of a paramedic and corrections officer and graduate of Sam Houston State University, Scudder's elevation to Chair continues his longtime efforts as TDP Finance Chair to invest in Democratic candidates across Texas and help them win tough elections.

And we know what’s at stake: MAGA Republicans and their billionaire buddies like Elon Musk are undermining our democracy and gutting public school funding while Texans struggle to make ends meet. Under Scudder's leadership, we’re going to work tirelessly to stand up and fight back.
